Atlanta BeltLine buys 31 acres on the Westside from Brock Built Homes

Exciting news for Atlanta! Atlanta BeltLine Inc. and the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership have acquired approximately 31 acres on the Westside from Brock Built Homes for $25.6 million, a purchase made at 30% below the property’s appraised value, thanks to a generous donation from Brock.

This land, located at 425 Chappell Road NW in the Bankhead/Historic Westin Heights neighborhood, will be redeveloped to provide much-needed affordable housing. Positioned along the planned segment of the Atlanta BeltLine Westside Trail, this acquisition marks the largest purchase by the Atlanta BeltLine to date, increasing their land holdings to 65 acres throughout the city.

After conducting community outreach, Atlanta BeltLine Inc. will seek proposals from developers to transform this site. This initiative is a significant step towards enhancing our community!
